Counselor Appointments

Brooklyn Campus - In-Person

Our undergraduate admissions counselors would love to meet with you to discuss the unique advantages of attending an art school, life at Pratt, Brooklyn, majors/minors, the application, or your supporting materials.

If you'd like to have your visual portfolio reviewed during the appointment, let us know in your registration. We're happy to review it with you. However, our counselors cannot review your portfolio after you have already applied and we do not offer written portfolio reviews.

If you are interested in a major-focused meeting with an undergraduate counselor, we recommend:

- John Bezemes: Architecture, Construction Management, Associate Degree Programs
- Latrelle Rostant: School of Art (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Jewelry, Printmaking, Animation, Game Design, & Art and Technology, Film/Video, Photography, Art and Design Education) & Undecided
- Mike Barry: Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, & Communication Design (Graphic Design & Illustration), HEOP
- Leah Putnam: History of Art & Design, Writing, Critical and Visual Studies, Transfer

Don't let major focus-area deter you though. Every counselor does visual portfolio reviews and can discuss all majors. Please sign-up for the appointment that works best with your schedule.

Please note: Between 9/22 and 11/15, our Admissions Team will be hitting the road to attend National Portfolio Day events across the country. We're excited that we might get to see you in person! However, this means our team may be unavailable on certain dates to meet you on campus, so we will be offering Graduate Assistant appointments. Our Graduate Assistant staff are current Pratt graduate students in either the School of Art or the School of Design. They're friendly, knowledgeable folks who will be more than happy to speak with you about Pratt, the admissions process, and your portfolio!
